DESCRIPTION:

INCREASE YOUR STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY & STOCK FOOTAGE SALES

Your Stock Files will only get sales and bring you income if first they get found by buyers. And that's how important METADATA is for your files. Because no matter how good your videos or photos are, if they don't have the right information to help the buyer find them, they'll never be sold.

In this Skillshare class, you'll learn

  • The basics of Metadata (keywords, tags, descriptions, titles, etc)
  • How to write metadata in a fast and efficient way
  • How to use Shutterstock's Suggestion Tool
  • Download a FREE Spreadsheet Template

How to Store your Metadata Work in a CSV Spreadsheet.

You will also have access to my own CSV template and learn how to save all your keywords and descriptions inside it, so you can quickly upload all this info to new agencies in the future.

This course is great for stock contributors who have at least done their first uploads to stock agencies like Shutterstock or Adobe Stock.

THE PROJECT:

By the end of this class, you'll be able to write professional metadata for your own stock uploads. As a class project, you'll share a photo of your portfolio and the metadata you produced with the lessons you've learned. And to maximize your learning you'll get real feedback from the instructor and fellow students.

After completing the course, your spreadsheet will live on as the main backup of all your metadata work.

Feel free to share as much of your planning process as you'd like, and don't be afraid to ask for feedback!
