Head planes
I loved this course.
I had a lot of fun and I feel that I had huge progress in barely three days / six pages in my sketchbook, even if that progress may not be immediately visible.
I am an architect, so breaking something down to geometric primitives / planes and thus *constructing* those pesky organic objects that are usually so frustratingly devoid of right angles and sharp lines - that was the perfect approach for me.

I enjoy leaving the sketchy construction lines when I draw, instead of erasing them, so doing this course was even more fun for me and the result more pleasing to my eyes.

And on the topic of eyes... Well, it was mildly confusing and frustrating to have to *guess* where the eyes should be located, while otherwise deep in the mindset of construction planes and reference points and guiding lines. I struggled a bit (easy to see in my drawings). In the end I had to look up another tutorial to clear things up for me.

Actually the eyesockets and cheekbones both proved a challenge and required some research. In the end though I am very pleased with the final result.

I confess I struggled a lot with the 3/4 view and ultimately decided that I need to approach it completely differently, otherwise I run the risk of *drafting* a mathematically precise *technical* drawing of a stylized human head in perspective, instead of anything even remotely resembling art or fun. Ah, well...
