Thank you for the great project Shiba. I clearly need to work on my proportions. My deer is a lot heaftier than I intended :-)

I really enjoy the style and process in your classes. I always learn new things. I struggled a lot with the intense blue with the burnt sienna in this one. I found it was not dark enough and would dry with a blue tinge. My deer was quite blue for a bit. I started using sepia instead and I was a lot happier with the colours. The sepia mixed well with the burnt sienna for me too. I also struggled with my water turning green because of the yellow base. In the end I switched out the intense blue for the water to indigo and was able to get rid of some of the green shade.

Overall I am very happy with my painting. Thank you for taking the time to share your work with us. I would love to see something spring like next.
