I tried to incorporate the techniques that Jeff taught- specifically using inking as a top layer. This subject was maybe too detailed and I got a bit lost with the brightest and darkest spots in the ink layer but it was good practice. I'd been shading other drawings over top my top sketch (which was a pencil) and losing that definition. I made the mistake here of not having the background behind the guitar on its own layer because I really wanted to change the colour saturation of the whole thing as it is too bold and distracting. But hey ho- I learned a lot and there were good tips and tricks in this lesson.
