The look great, Gabriela! (And what a beautiful view!) The hatching work will come with practice. I'd suggest getting used to it on smaller subjects or still life sketches, then think about how to apply it to only the shadows and darkest areas. Get used to seeing and applying the technique there, and you'll get the feel for how to begin working it into other areas too. I think the mono sketch is a really good effort with it and I know the next time you try it you'll have new insight on what you'd do differently. Be brave. :) I also really like the distant mountains in particular in your colour sketch - very convincing texture to the rockiness of them. Great job! Thank you for sharing! :)
