This was a fun class! I could work away at creating different, weird flowers for hours.

I came up with designs for each of the three layouts provided, exploring different ideas through my sketches:

Once I had created all the basic shapes in Illustrator I researched some colour combinations and decided this palette:

In the end I couldn't choose between these two colour ways:
