Paper makes a difference, this is a pad of the very first watercolor paper I ever used. It is 25% cotton watercolor 140 lb cold press and it is not as much fun as 100 % cotton paper. I used my favorite white gouache-Dr. PH Martin's bleed proof white because I like the way it blends in the highlights (like a pastel pencil would). Was there alcohol in this fruity drink? Because I kept getting lost in that fruit! Had to have Will's painting on my second screen. This was super fun. I didn't know if I could do it but with the excellent teaching tutorial by Will it came out just fine.
