Hello! This is the first time I uploaded a project on Skillshare. I'm really excited to share this!

To Nick, thank you so much for this class! I've been following you on IG for a while now and you're one of my design heroes! :)

Let's start!

So a week before I saw this class on Skillshare I played with the fine tip of my Tombow brush pen and made this:

I didn't know what to do with it at first. I then decided I wanted to take it to Vectorland but the last time I did, it took too much time and when I paused I wasn't able to get back to it ever since. :(

Once I saw this class, I know that I just had to try it! Watching Nick's videos made me rethink my vectoring process and get things done faster!

I was too excited to try it on Illustrator that I skipped the part where I should refine the sketch first on paper before going digital. It was a big mistake! I had a hard time with the transition between the letters 'i' and 'y'. Will definitely learn from this experience.

It took me a while to get it right... Just look at the difference!

Here is a preview of the handles (hope I can do some thicks and thins in the future!)

I finally went to Photoshopville and added some soft grunge textures. Yay!
