Oh, my! This is awesome, Marcia!!! It turn out great!!! I prefer the first version, but both are really nice. The background cut out look is not as complicated as it seems to be. If you don’t get on well with layer masks, lol! another way to do it is: 1. Create a new layer and make a circle in it. 2. Fill the circle with any color. 3. Tap the eraser, select the Seigaiha pattern brush and rub the circle with it. :) 4. Select the layer content tapping and holding with two fingers on the layer where you just draw the circle. 5. Go to your background layer. Three fingers downwards on the screen. Tap on “Cut”. 6. Turn off the visibility of the layer where you draw the circle. 7. At this point you already have your background cut out. Now, let´s make the shadows!!! :) 8. Duplicate your background layer and turn it black. 9. Move the black background layer... and voilà! There you have your cut out look!!! Hope this helps! Please, don’t surrender! If you need my help, just ask as many times as you need to. I’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible for you, but yeah, there are a lot of layers involved and I suppose it’s easy to get lost if this is the first time you create this type of illustrations. In any case, yours looks really nice. You should be super proud of yourself. :)

I had to fudge some things (a lot of things) but it turned out OK in the end. I don&rsquo;t know which version I like better. I couldn&rsquo;t make my background look cut out!
