Fox by the Rocks

There probably isn’t any tooth left on this black paper, Artagain by Strathmore. I bought it awhile ago in size 6 x 9, thinking I didn’t have space to keep bigger drawings. But now I see that I can’t get into details as much as I’d like at this scale. I think I’m going to at least work 9 x 12 or larger. Make the storage space.
I really am getting so much out of this series of courses for Colored Pencils on Black paper. Thank you, Sandrine! I tried using Gamsol solvent with a flat acrylic brush when I started to see the shiny burnishing. Then, it seemed so slick after it dried, so I applied Workable Fixative to add tooth. I got a little more out of that, but not much. I want to try more grisaille underpainting as I really like how it pumped up the vibrancy of the colors. On to the next course! Thank you again! Super instruction.
