Hi Christine - another winner!  I really like the sort ethereal background which  makes the scene even more magical. Some lovely colour and fur texture on the fox, along with a very convincing eye. I also like the colour harmony between the fox and the robin which gives the painting the right balance. Its a gorgeous painting just as it is - one teeny tiny suggestion would be to lose some of the tone from the small twig that arches down below the robin towards the fox. It's quite black, and because it's surrounded by white sky it is subsequently high contrast, and also right in the middle of the painting, so it's competing to be the focal point. If you just brush over it VERY VERY lightly and gently with clean water, then blot with paper towel, that would lift some of the colour and lighten the tone. That will push the focal point back to the fox's face. I'm so pleased you're enjoying my classes and learning new things along the way.
