Forty Below Zero
This course inspired me to turn back to this photo, taken on a hike in New Hampshire this winter. It was 40 degrees below zero when I took this shot (my battery died shortly after), so I wanted to preserve that feeling through the icy blues. Thinking about complementary color pairings helped me keep the deep blues while leaning into the warm golden hour light, resulting in this edit.
Thanks for such a thorough and actionable course! I'm looking forward to applying some of these ideas while composing photos in the future.
