For this project, I immediately knew I wanted to work with paper and collage. I got out my hole punches (four sizes, including the very large one and teeny tiny one) and emptied out the contents. I punched four large circles out of floral paper torn out of a magazine, and also punched a variety of sizes out of some paper I had painted with dark green gouache. Then I just played with the colors and sizes of dots, working out the composition as I went. It was very intuitive and not planned at all, but I did try to think about balance and line as I went. Really, a very fun Sunday afternoon project!
