Another awesome sketch, thanks Dan - just like your other sketch the way you palyed with the pavement, and that lovely blue shadow on the edge of the curb, is super fun.You're clearly a very accomplished sketcher - the perspective lines marking of the pavement slabs are spot on, as Becky noted you've also got the slope of the road, and the way you handle colour is really pleasing to the eye.Thank you for sharing your projects, I'm sure they'll be an inspiration to a lot of people!

Thanks so much Toby. I have done loads of sketches over the last few months, but your course has really elevated my confidence in line and watercolour.... I just loved your simple approach and how you laid out the course. Just by doing your course I feel more confident in my abilities. :-) and its super fun way of approaching this kinf of sketching. Next step is to get outside and do some on the streets.

Love this - the pavement is really good too

I am quite pleased with first attempt. Not 100% happy, but struggled to get a dark grey for shadows with my pocket water colour set
