First mixed media postcards

I'm also learning how to make gel print papers. So, while some parts of the background where I used metallic green and pastel pink acrylic paint show through, I mostly used my gel print papers I wasn't too excited about and some torn pages from old books. I also had a box of die cut cards that I took pieces from, along with ephemera I'd bought from Hobby Lobby last year that I hadn't used. Most of my magazines and catalogs have coated pages, so I just printed a photo of me on standard printer paper using my inkjet printer. I didn't have a black crayon or pencil, so I just used a stamp ink pad.  A few ink splatters, makeup tube circles, and rubber stamp dots and I was done. I'm new to mixed media -- and making art -- so I am really excited to have found a class simple enough to allow me to create something I actually like! Thanks a bunch, Nina!
