Hi Shelly! I begun my watercolour journey last week, and seeing the competition, this prompted me to attempt my first ever watercolour portrait. WOw, it is quite hard. Learning patience of when to wait for the watercolour layer to dry, and also what brushes used makes a difference on certain areas of the face, I give my hat off to watecolour artists! I was overwhelmed when I first opened my watercolour set, as I've never used this medium before, but with the right tutorials, it has beeen a tremendous help! I hope I win haaha as I made this specially, but also it was an interesting set of exercises getting used to the values/tones and altering photos to see the highlight, and shadow of the image.
