First i watched the lessons to absorb the knowledge. Then after i had watched the lessons, i just used sketchbook and pencil for the drawings. First i did a simple study of the eye. Then i did a simple study of the mouth.

After doing those i drew a portrait of the old man using the shapes technique you explained then i lightly erased over it and practised eye to hand coordination. 

While it's not the best drawing, i still feel like i improved and have taken in the knowledge your lessons imparted. My ultimate goal isn't realistic style but anime style but i wanted to have knowledge of how to draw faces in that style to be able to work my way to the style of drawing i ultimately want to do. i feel like i can keep practising using what you taught me. I may just do eyes, nose and mouth studies till i can draw them good then do complete faces though i feel i can do that now thanks to your Class.
