The moment I saw the FLY LONDON shoe box I knew I had to transform it into covers for one or more, coptic bound sketchbooks. I wanted to take advantage of its unique feature of the flaps that could function as closures for the books.  I have completed three of the five possible sketchbooks from this one, wonderful shoebox!  The other two are quite small.

To keep the flaps in the slots I cut in the back cover of the sketchbook, I wove elastic through the center slots.
