I was so intimidated to start this portrait, but I'm glad I did.  I had a difficult time getting enough pigment on the page in a few areas, as I'm working with a pan set of student quality watercolors rather than nice paints from a tube.  I did watch the class all the way through, and then a second time to paint along and that was really helpful to see how the painting comes together before jumping right into it.
