Hello dear Nikita, thank you for reaching out to me. I am glad to see your progress :D ! The first thing I noticed is that you made the circle of the highlight very dark, in the opaque cabochon the transition between the highlight and the light should be very smooth. While explaining in the video, I drew the circle (in the side view) just to show where the highlight is. Sorry, my bad! But notice in the front view, there is no visible circle where the highlight hits.The second remark is the core shadow, the transition doesn't look smooth. In the side view again I made it look very visible also for explanation purposes. But notice that in the front view I made the transition smoother.I hope that will help you to correct the little mistakes and you can see a difference after applying it. To draw the opaque cabochon, I recommend that you re-watch lesson 2. Shading a sphere, the example of the ball is an opaque one, and the explanation is clearer.Please do not hesitate to ask me whenever you like, and share any progress with us :D !
