The first piece I tried to etch wouldn't work.  After some research, I discovered that you can't etch glass that has been treated to withstand heat.  Since the piece I tried to etch was for a candle, this made sense, so I decided to try something else.

It was hard to get good pictures because of the light, but hopefully you can get the idea.  I used a cherry blossom design to etch the two wine glasses and I created an ornament with a nativity stencil.  Once I had the right kind of glass, this process was very easy and a lot of fun!
