Could definitely use one more round of refining and making certain light red areas a bit lighter (and shadows on egg a bit better), but happy with this as a quick little study/practice to learn the basics! Really enjoyed the course and ended up watching it through entirely to learn the instructor's methods, and then attempted the painting on my own afterwards. Doing a few oil studies right now on 8 x 8 in canvas to learn how to paint, so I used that instead of the 5 x 7. Loved this course and hope to see more oil painting tutorials from Diane in the future!!
