I enjoyed the idea of sketching with only three layers but I think I should have added a bit more color in my last two layers.  Either that or just gone with ink.

The first sketch worked out pretty well as I had mixed quite dark colors for the third layer.

The second sketch got a little confused with all the same color browns.

And for the third sketch, I loved using the different colors but I definitely should have gone darker for all of this.
