I certainly learned not to dwell over details in this class and Darren's pace was daunting while trying to imitate all he was doing in each sketch.  He made it seem so easy and I laughed out loud as I tried to make similar marks!  All in all, I am very pleased with what I accomplished and the volume of the lessons and the different landscapes was a great learning experience though I never got as loose as I planned to be... 

As for my own sketches trying to incorporate techniques from this class, I commemorated the Peace monuments of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the country where I now live.Hiroshima
