Hi Carolyn! I'm sorry for the delayed reply, but I had Covid and was offline for the past two weeks. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the class! Your painting is truly stunning, and I'm in awe of your skills. You've done an incredible job on the dog, and the entire piece is warm and beautiful. The textures you've achieved and the realism you've captured are simply amazing. However, I couldn't help but notice that the darkest darks appear slightly washed out in the photo. For instance, the left eye is really dark and looks perfect, but all the other blacks seem to be a shade lighter. It could just be the photo, though. That's just a minor observation that caught my attention. Apart from that, your painting is perfect! The balance between soft and hard edges, the beautiful colors, and the level of detail are spot on. It's a truly beautiful piece of art. Well done!

Sorry to hear you caught covid.  Hopefully you are fully recovered.  I began painting when the epidemic began.  It's been a "life saver" for me.  I'm currently working on your Iris painting project.  I love your choice of colors and explanation about creating a harmonious color palette.  Makes total sense, but I haven't heard that before.
