When I started this project, for some reason I thought of one of my favourite restaurants, Dinette Triple Crown. Dinette Triple Crown is arguably Montreal's best southern food restaurant, specializing in fried chicken, biscuits, brisket etc. Its a charming, tiny little place that will pack everything to go in a picnic basket complete with table cloth and tableware to take for a picnic across the street. When i looked them up online, I realized they actually don't have an official logo , so I thought they would be perfect for this project!

I decided to take inspiration from some old Bluegrass Posters, since the restaurant celebrates the south and has a real vintage feel to it.

I decided to explore 3 different options, since I couldn't really narrow it down. The first two, were really just from playing with the text, and the last one was inspired by the bluegrass posters, which i eventually landed on.

 

The final was my favourite in the end. I think it could still use some work, but would love to hear any feedback. thanks!
