Is it possible to do this without Redshift?

Unfortunately no, you will need redshift for this class. I tried to do standard render but it didn't work. It loooked to different from the original 'Departure' visual that this class is based on.

just looking at my answer again and I should make a correction, its posible to get something that looks different. but a result like this with the post glow effects is not possible with standard. You would have to do a lot more post work in After Effects. Also render time in Standard were really long and I have a pretty fast PC, it was because there's so many blury reflections and area shadows.
