To convey "delighted" - I imagined these physical symbols

1) Raised eyebrows to express the suddenness and immediacy of its arrival.

2) A rounded mouth like an "0" for surprise with wonder

3) the hint of smile to indicate pleasure.

4) somewhat lifted face

5) Shoulders pulled in as if the entire body is gripped in the affectionate pinch of delight.  

Picked a vivacious daring bold color scheme to convey a person perpetually open to bouts of delight.

Self Critique:

1) Think those upward weeping black hair lines don't fit so well with the hair. Maybe if they were a bit thiner and wavier.
2) The lifework in her face (above the mouth) is more cautious and not as strong which is especially obvious when she's view smaller.

About the Class:

The length (short) and clarity of the Class Lessons was PERFECT to get me started. 

Decide to Use Procreate - which I'm new at and need experience. 

Had LOTS of fun selecting an emotion and attempting to express it in a cartoon.

Finally: 

Went through the class again and made another character but don't think it's possible to upload a second one.
