Loose Watercolor Landscapes

I love the granulating colours here Zanna, this has a very romantic feel to it.  You did a great job hitting the dark values in the foreground while still keeping in transparent. Beautiful!  Which yellow lake did you use?  What brand

I thought that might be it, not many paints use that pigment

First picture is my second attempt using yellow Lake instead of ochre and on cold press.  Second picture  with the colours as per the lesson on hot press.  Think I’ve got a sunrise and sunset thing going on!
