Taking cues from Jill’s class, here is my attempt at direct painting. Most difficult part of the process was to resist my urge of making solid outlines and filling with the brush. Glad I took the class, it made me realize these subtle urges and how to overcome them. Feeling a bit more confident in picking up the brush to paint more subjects without investing hours of thinking.
