This class is not just about using Gouache but it’s also about developing skills to simplify the composition and confidence to use the medium. I wouldn’t have taken this approach to draw this window if it hadn’t been for this class. I would have drawn all the objects with a pencil first, making it so hard and time-consuming. Update:

Painted this shop in Taipei following the same steps as this class. This Pinterest image was sitting in my "To-paint" folder for a long time. I wasn't sure where to start. And when I completed this class, I got the confidence and understood the process and went ahead with it. I liked the result. Yay!
