I love shapes, color, texture in nature. I saw this rock during Autumn in my daughter’s very wooded backyard hill. Immediately the shape reminded me of a whale. Very similar with the idea of seeing animal shapes in clouds.  Thus the “Beached Whale Far From Home” was created.
