Creating Abstracts using Sumikundo 15452 Shadow Black

These paintings were inspired by Denise Love’s class. I took this project in a different direction. I tried doing the intuitive painting like she was showing, and I just didn't care for the results. So I took it in my own direction. I used Sumikundo 15452 Shadow Black. I absolutely love this product. I love doing wet-on-wet and just watching watercolor/ink do its thing. There is another set of 6 Sumikundo 15459 Solid Ink which looks interesting. I used all the colors in the set: Reddish Black, Yellowish Black, Greenish Black, Bluish Black, Purplish Black, and Brownish Black. I also used Lyra graphite water-soluble stick 9B, Blackwing matte pencil, Princeton Neptune oval wash 1/2” brush, Princeton Neptune round #4 brush, Kuretake Gold and Silver Mica Ink.
