I am not good at making of illustrating or decorating, book covers. So I spend a few days going to all my favourite book and art supply stores, until I found the perfect book to use as my Idea Book.

I love the way the cover is kind of chaotic but still structured, bringing together a lot of ideas and especially how whimsical it is. 

The spread consists of a recent trip I took with my family to a resort town. I could not stop looking at the architecture (something I love very much), so I took a lot of pictures. These are some of them and I hope they will eventually lead to a painting or some urban sketching or perhaps even a scale miniature build... who knows 😉
