My first go with Indio study, I didn’t have quite the right paper this is slightly cream, hopefully it won’t matter too much. Very relaxing to do, I’m going to try some different paper & maybe another colour. Also I changed my water after a while as didn’t want the -now blue water to go into the light washes .

I have started my eggs in watercolour, the first ones the paper was soo cheap all buckled & paint massed in puddles so got printer paper & results better, the only thing is I can’t get the really dark tones very well.
My first egg in Procreate needs more contrast & the shape /composition I now realise I never looked at , the way I directed the light would have been better making the shadow lower than the egg. All in all I’ve learned lots so far.

My still life has been really enjoyable to do, I’ve lost some of the more dramatic watercolour & it looks too blended for my liking but it was such a good exercise, an extra plus was learning how to remove a white background so quickly. Great class, thank you.
