Complete 30 Exercises
This was a lot of fun. I rarely work this consistently in my sketchbooks and it felt really good to have a goal going into it. Also sorry for the bad quality pictures... one day I will understand my phone's camera.
Day 1: Scribble

Not my favorite but that is mostly because it was the first exercise and I hadn't really gotten into the looser headspace for the exercises.
Day 2: Collage

This turned out to be way more fun than I thought it would. I was never a big collage person, but I enjoyed this and it let me use some old supplies.
Day 3: Drip Drawings

This was a ton of fun. I got to use watercolors that I had bought but not had a chance to use... and I learned that some of my pens don't play well with them.
Day 4: Rearranged Still Life

(Sorry don't know why my pics won't rotate properly) I have a statue of a skeleton torso with roses. I edited it down to this. I don't think it is better or worse, but I got to try drawing roses which I usually avoid.
Day 5: Reverse Drawing

I enjoyed this just because I got to draw a bird which I have been really into drawing recently.
Day 6: Overlapping Quick Sketches

I'm eh on this. I don't draw people often as it isn't something I'm into, but I went back and did some more details on the mail figure and liked it a bit more.
Day 7: Unlikely Still Life

I get this exercise but... I've done it before in art school so I really just pushed through this one.
Day 8: Collage Portrait

This was fun. I ended up going a little over the top with it and adding interactive pieces to it. I think I want to do more interactive bits because that was fun.
Day 9: Forest With Straight Lines

I had done an activity like this before and it was actually fun to do and see how much detail I could get in it.
Day 10: Self Portrait

Meh. I used two pictures of myself. The eye is based on some makeup I did for a faire last year while the rest is from a more recent photo. I think the color took it from a poor drawing to something more interesting.
Day 11: Melting Still Life

Meh. I had an idea and it didn't really work the way I wanted it to. I like my shading on the cauldron handles though.
Day 12: Grocery List

This was fun. I sometimes try to find ways to make shopping/chores more fun and this sure did.
Day 13: Bubble Letter Doodles

So I chose to decorate outside the bubbles but I enjoyed doing it.
Day 14: View Outside the Windows

20% fantasy makes everything better. I was going to add some 3d elements and I still might later.
Day 15: Patterns

I enjoyed pulling out my gel pens to do this. It added a really pretty sheen that is nice in real life.
Day 16: Music Inspired Doodles

This was kind of fun. I was trying to do a theme that only kind of worked. I do like how I got the gold parts colored.
Day 17: Mixed Image

A Snow Rabbit! Okay... yes that is a thing but this was a Snowman/Rabbit. Played with my pitt pens.
Day 18: Collage + Draw

This was fun. Wasn't sure where I was going and I know I made a few mistakes, but I like where I ended up.
Day 19: Underground World

So... I am a giant nerd and this is based on the castle in Labyrinth. I did a stupid amount of searching for pictures of the movie castle. I wish I had added more contrast so I may come back to this with a larger format.
Day 20: Geometric Animals

You will find a theme of rabbits when I don't know what to draw. I also did a project long ago that I redo every now and again. So wherever they overlap, I put the 'mixed' color (yellow/blue > green). Think it worked pretty well.
Day 21: Drawing Rocks

Found a picture of a bunch of jasper.
Day 22: Undiscovered Sea Creatures

I did a challenge a bit back about combining two animals so this seemed like a good way to do another. This is a combo of an electric eel and a shark (honestly can't remember the type).
Day 23: Animal with Human Clothing

Snek! He is such a dapper gentleman. I don't own a snake but I do love them and this gave me an opportunity to do a complete pen drawing.
Day 24: Literary Prompt

"I'm going to have to wear a Phantom of the Opera mask forever." - Paris Dellacourt is About to Crumble. So... I took the easy route and drew the mask. The flowers around it at one point stood for eternity or ... forever. Thought it was vaguely clever.
Day 25: Abstraction

I'm not generally a person who does fully abstract work. This was fun even if the intention behind it changed about halfway through. I like the final outcome.
Day 26: Cloud Images

This was surprising for me. I never grew up cloud watching and seeing things so I expected this to be difficult for me. It turned out to be easy for me. I don't know what some of these little guys are, but they are cute.
Day 27: Inner Critic

So I know it wasn't supposed to be scary and for me, it isn't although I could understand why it might be. To me, the critic is something... different than me. An other in my head who doesn't understand because they are fundamentally different.
Day 28: Written Word

I loved this. I drew a little ray plush I had and all the writing behind him is facts about sting rays of varying species. This is one of my plans that worked out well.
Day 29: Playing with Color

I loved how this turned out. I am definitely turning this into a print and sticker set.
Day 30: Happy Place

The place I was most creative was when I lived in Las Vegas/Nevada. I discovered my love of watercolors and was constantly creating. It was a really good time in my life. That being said, I am not a big fan of drawing buildings so I made sure the sign was fully rendered and did a bit of the Bellagio.
