A festive and fun class with Will! This is great class to get into the holiday spirit! I used Arches, DS paints, 9 x 12 inch. This was a great learning experience. I am happy with my project, I will admit it was a bit challenging for me. 

I wanted my background to be a little lighter, but my yellow was quite vibrant and not easy to lift. I think capturing the reflective quality was interesting but a challenge. My shadows under the cane and plate were a bit dark, but I need to learn how to lift out a bit when there is the initial background underlayment, without lifting to the white paper. But, I love being challenged, and I  feel that is where the real learning takes place so this was a fantastic exercise.
