POV Paragraphs
First Person:
The kitten meowed loudly as I prepared its food. I laid the metallic plate on the ground with a clang as the kitten dove in. It’s the weekend yet her loud whines entered through my window and woke me up quite early. I had to get up begrudgingly. I would want to sleep some more, but a lot of things must be done. Today is ‘general cleaning day’ and Uncle will visit us at lunch. I won’t worry what to cook by then. He said he’ll bring authentic Middle Eastern food. But first, I will have to cook breakfast for Mom and Sis. Then, I will have time to finally finish ‘Chocolat’ and Pachelbel’s Canon in D.
Third Person:
This Human of mine would prefer to read than play with me. I would have to sit on the book which she holds to remind her of our lunch. Finally, she went to the ‘cold box’ for her lunch, green like the aloe she grows by the window. Then comes my silver bowl of meat chunks with soggy fish tablets. Ick! Still I eat. After this she’ll bring out that horrid instrument of hers and play while I knock around in the carrier. I tore up a book of hers once and she locked me in the carrier since then. She whined it about being in ‘mint condition’.
