I used an Etchr everyday sketchbook in cold pressed with Winsor and newton cotman watercolours. The details were finished with Faber-Castell polychromos pencils. 

 

I enjoyed this project but find it really hard to loosen up with the watercolour layers. 

Here is my wip after the watercolour underlayer before removing my masking fluid. 

 

 

I had trouble using my pencils on this paper (even though I've used watercolour and pencils together many times before). I'd never tried pencil on this paper before and think I might have had an easier time either using hot pressed paper or just carrying on with a detail brush.
