Beautiful pattern! I’m so impressed with your ability to render a realistic campfire — that’s not an easy task.I agree that it feels very intentional. But remember that the pizza recipe is about layering and proportions. In this case I'd consider the branches as your mozzarella, laying a foundation for the campfires, but since they’re similar in value to the firewood and darker than the stones, I think they're drawing too much attention away from the fires. I wonder if there’s a way to make them recede more—maybe making them closer in value to the background, or shifting them toward a dark teal so they relate more to the background and less to the logs.You also mentioned oranges, but what mostly comes through is yellow—which really should be your spice since it's the lightest and brightest. If you make the yellow areas smaller and bring in more of the deeper oranges, I think you’d get another layer of richness and depth, and the whole thing would feel even cozier.Thanks for sharing your project! I love the opportunity to stop and really consider how colors work together.

Hi Kris, I made some of your suggested changes- what do you think? I made the branches into a darker teal about the same tone as the pebbles and I tried removing the yellowy-orange but it made the fires look dead, so I just removed the white hot centres and I culled the number of different campfire motifs to make it less chaotic, so I’ve got the same campfires mirrored instead of a different campfire on two of the smaller campfires (hope you follow😅) Thank you again so much

Yes! This looks great. Now the branches add interest without competing with the firewood and the richer oranges bring more depth to the fire. Well done.
