Thanks for the great tutorial Laurie! I appreciate you putting this together. I dig your painting style! I'm fairly new at acrylic and watched both your beginner acrylic and abstract landscape lessons. Really good stuff!

For my project, I attempted a sunset landscape from the Salt Lake, Utah area and am fairly pleased with the result. I wish I would've kept it looser. I started to get too detailed almost immediately, instead of focusing on shapes and colors. Especially, in the the foreground. Sigh. I'll pick a picture with a less detail for round 2 (and probably pick up some better quality paint as well). I've attached pictures of the process and my inspiration photo. Any feedback or tips for improvement would be appreciated. Thank you again!
