I think your work looks great.  I love the blue/green combination.  I felt the same way about the ones I did -- too busy, too many marks that look all the same.

These are a delight to look at and make me want to jump into such a project. Can't miss with Denise. The blues and greens present great texture but also the shapes you use, along with the markings, are restful. Superb project, Josi!

I really like how the blue greens flow through both pieces, and the little figures, leafy marks, and repeated lines give them such a playful rhythm. I can see what you mean about the black feeling stronger than you intended, but it also creates some beautiful contrast and gives the softer layers something to push against.

wasn't terribly happy with how my paintings came out. I used too much black pen. These paintings were made with M Graham gouache, Distress watercolor pencils, tempura sticks, acrylic pens, black, white and gold uniball pens.
