I made a trial one according to the directions. And I couldn't get it over my heel. It was too short. I then made this pair.  I used two 4 weight yarns:  pink and white variation and an orange purpleish variation together. And instead of fake fur I use pipsqueak baby yarn. I increased the length of the toe area and the length of the heel. So it fit my foot easily. Someone I know has larger feet, due to swelling, so it should fit.  Was actually pretty fast.
