This is so lovely Katherine! Nice bursts of color and making use of lots of different watercolor techniques. You have a good range from big broad washes, such as in the sky, to thin brush work in the trees and branches. You have also incorporated dry brush marks, as well splatters. It's so great that you combined all these different elements into your painting. It can be difficult to be loose and still be in control, but by practicing all these different techniques (like in this painting), you get a better understanding of how the painting reacts/responds and your intuition improves.
