Attracting my Interior Design Clients

As a mom of 2 toddlers and a part time interior design instructor, I have started taking freelance clients. I love having a more relaxed scheudle (no 9-5), allowing me to be home to raise my little ones but still being able to work on projects on the side.

I have recently decided to partner with another local designer who shares very similar design styles yet we excel more in one area than another thus allowing us to take on more projects and clients with the help/work of one another. For example; my partner excells more in 3D rendering and selecting material for bedrooms, living room, dining rooms, where as I excel more in the drafting side focusing more on kitchens and bathrooms. My partner brings in more of the transitional cottage style and I bring in the luxury modern boho style again, thus allowing a wider range of clientele.

Our goal is to use platforms like instagram and facebook but now after watching this video,  I think we should both update our linkedin accounts for even more potential to attract and land those clients.

I think promoting our freelance business by ebracing how we decided to come about - putting both of our own personal business and skills to use; from '@lex Interiors' and 'Chelsey Brewer Designs' coming together to create 'The Designer Gals' where we offer freelance interior design services allowing us to split profits and gain more clients!
