In this class Darren took us through the steps to paint two landscapes, a path between grasses and a lone building on an autumn hillside.  I was a bit lost with the grassy path as but with the addition of two walkers I think the surrounding landscape came together.  With the autumn landscape I'm not quite sure why the painting photographs so pink (though I did use some pink in it).  I have a lot of problems bringing things to the foreground or background... for example I don't know what my dark tree trunks are doing all along the center of the painting when they didn't seem connected to the autumn colors in the background that were supposed to be leaves (I guess).  It was a beatiful scene forpracticing!
