Beginning with the basics of selecting fabrics that are like a basic elementary school days rainbow watercolor set; I then ventured into my favorite world of ribbon and beads to embellish  the slow stitching in an attempt to make the "paint" surfaces look "wet."  I  used tiny stitches to mount the strip of colors onto folded fabric strips as an homage to my hand-stitched paint box.
