Artie's Gnome Mobile

My Stepfather has a red pickup truck that he has made into a camper. He wants dearly to drive his camper into the forest and nature to be at that quiet place of understanding. Unfortunately, right now that is difficult for him to do, so he continues to work on the inside of the camper making it a cozy hygge haven for him. It is certain that one day he will take his Gnome Mobile to that place of enrichment.
I created this scene for Artie's birthday in February, to remind him that one day his hard work and dreams will unfold. Try as I may, I could not paint a pine tree in a scene. This marvelous tutorial lead me to learn the technique for making pine trees, which was simple and oh so enjoyable.
The ambiguity in the scene can offer space for you to name the time of year, time of day, type of coniferous trees, person driving the truck and the species of animal under the tree.
I am new to painting and yet, find it therapeutic. This scene was particularly peaceful to paint. I am older and want to paint as many "joyful" paintings as I can, as I feel our village, our state, our country, our earth can use as much happy as each person will allow.
Peace to whomever is reading this.
