Art Quickie Projects
I'm planning on slowly making my way through all these fun art quickie videos and creating a project for each one in my sketchbook.
Video One: Kickstart Collage
Girl on Fire

This is a new medium I just got in the June Sketchbox and I absolutely loved working with it.
Day 2: Patchwork Portrait
Natural Beauty

Video 3: Word Play
Secret Wishes
I just grabbed whatever mediums I had hanging around nearby on my desk to create the layers. Some I had never tried to use before such as the Speedball pearl white ink and a bamboo pen. Also the wax pigment sticks were great to add dark colors to the edges and could be scratched into to make marks. I'll definitely be spending more time exploring this technique.

Video 4: Rhythm and Blues
Shards
Blue with Oilac paints Purple with Blick Matt Acrylics

Video 5: Badly Drawn Boy
Badly Drawn Boy With His Badly Drawn Pony

Video 6: Paint Without A Brush

Video 7: Loose Lines With Twig Art
Five min drawing with twig and india ink. I loved the versitility of this twig.

Video 8: Collage and Mark Making
Marks made with Blick black matt acrylic and a large rubber color shaper brush. Brown wax pigment bar made by Traci Bautista added to edges. The marks were totally random but one looks just like a dragonfly wing.

Video 9: Stack and Stick Collage
This was so easy and fun. I could spend a day making these.

Video 10: Playing With Mixed Media on Watercolor Background
My favorite combination of secondary colors. I just in love with DS Cascade Green for glowing color backgrounds.
