I have been working on trying to paint in a looser style so this was a bit of a switch for me.  I should have made my pencil lines a lot lighter as they show in places (I tried to hide some with ink)!  I can see I did rush the leaves a bit (it is quite a long class) and I lost the detail in the veins so had to lift the paint out at the end.  But I learned some valuable lessons and I will definitely try this sort of project again - and I hope I will be better next time!
